Work Daze #12
Dad,
The honeymoon was great, tiki tour around Amarr space was a needed change of scenery for us both. We spent a night each in Domain, Kador, Khanid, and Tash-Murkon, winding our way back home through Derelik and Bleak. Ran through a couple gate camps, but our ships were flat out and travel-fit, so the ratbags only barely got lock as we warped away.
I can see why you and dyadya Kartsev like those Amarr ships; very sleek and refined-looking, mean as firepower. Gabi says that hull symmetry is overrated and flashlights make for sweet as spectacle, but bung weapons. Can't please everyone, I guess. I'll need to fit up that Scythe FI that dyadya got for me, and take it out for some security missions.
Came home to an interesting email, from one of my new father-in-law's mates at Intaki Bank, with a job offer, and an interesting hook:
"One slight complication might be your recreational combat engagements, as that could create some discomfort, or outright conflict, with some of our clients. I'm sure that we can compensate you sufficiently to where that activity won't be necessary going forward."
You've taught me well on avoiding ratshit political entanglements, but it seems I've bloody stepped in it this time. Intaki is out in Syndicate, and while I've zipped in and out of that space, carefully and avoiding incident, how do I operate in that space to make sure I don't get in a bloody mare?
Yours,
Wai
P.S. Oh, and Gabi's pregnant.
