Work Daze #43

 Wairua,

Glassed again, by the unassailable incel mafia, for the second time in six weeks. Your uncle's been kicking around, mining a little ice here and there, hitting the asteroid belts when other mates are in the mood, but the spirit has gone out of the crew; several more mates have gone absent. It's just a stink one all around.

One of the mates sold Kartsev a blueprint for a run of reactive armor hardeners, which he constructed at some other corp's facilities nearby. I've got one for you, the rest went to market. I'm sure he'll keep knuckle under on getting some more hulls fabricated for you.

As for me, I've been helping the mates here and there with fleet DED site runs, and running missions for security agents with a fleet of assault frigates. Talk about making a boring, bung job much more exciting. Closing distance is more a thing, keeping a beaut transversal, and speed tanking against the bigger guns makes the endeavor more engaging. I'll help the newer mates with their missions, and maybe run some abyssal filaments flat out.

Glad to hear the partnership with Winslow is working out so far. I know a couple other mates that have started migrating in that direction as well. My brother and I will have to bowl around Sinq for a choice family piss-up before you shift away. I still have that Gila docked up there, maybe I'll go make the Serps pack a sad while I'm around.

Don't worry about us, you just knuckle under on the yakka you need to do for your family. Lumi's grown flat out, she's doing cracker work with the foundation, and I'm sure she'll be good as gold for the planetary management. Smart Gallie, like her mother, with some solid Caldari business sense (no idea where she got that).

I can tell that your father-in-law's in a more choice mood; I got a payment on that bet we made at the wedding reception.

We'll see you soon,

Dad
