Frontier Daze #37

 Dear Wairua,

I'm behind on getting another extraction colony set up, sorry about that. Been busy as buffing up my security status in-between the violent piss-ups, where I lose security status. We played tag with another fleet last night, counting coup on their fleet and in return. Didn't cark much, we just would blap guys until their shields were gone, then switch targets, but I lost heaps of security status locking up and throwing a few shots at a bunch of different punters. Good thing we weren't really fighting keen as, because our fleet comp was ill-fit to deal with theirs. Even playing around, we lost a Guardian and a couple Legions, and we carked a couple of their EWAR, booshing ships, and a logi.

As you've heard, there are seismic shocks going on in The Forge, with the null-bloc cartel TTC folding in an acrimonious and violent spasm of ongoing destruction. Carking the cartel's trade hub is one thing, but the refining and other industrial structures are core to much of highsec Caldari space mining and industry. I think that there will be bung shockwaves felt in the markets for a good while.

Also, many corps used those facilities because of Blackflag, and other anti-structure wardec ratbags. The removal of those cartel industrial facilities throws the smaller industrial alliances back under the ruthless boot of Blackflag, et al. The pirate mafia are the biggest winners in the folding of TTC.

You might find a couple doctrine Rapiers on alliance contracts, so start there. I heard from my brother, and he finally got his suitcase Orca through a beaut (and long-awaited) wormhole and to The Island. I think he'll be glad to spend a little less time in his Heron for a while.

Cheers,

Dad
