Plus Ultra #33
Dear Wairua,
Your uncle and Tasman have been knuckle under on mining, and raiding some Tetrimon and Blood Raider data sites, and have been finding the occasional choice lollies as well. I'll be testing out a heavy assault cruiser config our CEO has come up with for bowling around their campsites, we'll see how it all goes.
I've been a little beached as, waiting for fleet ops, rarely getting a fight. We got called out by some bung eggs bashing a POCO, and so we BLOPsed out to confront them. They gapped it from the POCO, but stayed around the system, grabbing onto their wangs and talking stink about hoping the bung ratbags that glassed us might bowl around again. Real small-man talk. We munted the shields on their own POCO in the system, then headed back to the hub for a real fight.
We formed up again, and took a fight with our local homeless ratbags, who, despite even numbers with us, needed to bring a HAW dread to the battlecruiser fight. We threw hands for a bit, then they buggered off, even though they had a firepower advantage. I was flying Logi, so I was almost invisible for the fight, though my shield reppers were still glowing hot when we got back to the hub.
CEO's also been setting up some beaut interceptors for me to run favors for the Guristas. I know my rep with them is in the dunny, but they really want a new generation of scallywags to join their insurgency. Just like you were feeling the itch to work with Angels, I might be in a better spot to infiltrate Guristas ranks, and cause some chaos in the Caldari-Gallie warzone.
The Dodixie Destroyers have a match against the Rens Ruptures tonight, and should beat them by a couple tries, as the Rens front line is bung this year. Should be a good night for some lagers and jellyfishing.
Cheers,
Dad
