Work Daze #27

 Dad,

It was sweet as to have you two bowl around for the weekend. To see dyadya Kartsev, the roughneck miner-engineer, pulling faces and making babble with Lumi was just cracker. Thanks for helping out around here, giving Gabi and I wee breaks to rest a bit. I know that you were hoping for a grandson, but I can tell you just adore Lumi as much as anyone. Yeah, the Gila plushie was a little over the top, but it's definitely a gift that screams "Grandpa" as you are.

Well, I knotted the double major, Mechanical Engineering and High Energy Physics, and now have L4 lab access at two different research corps. I'm still working with Dr. Beene, at Duvolle, for the time being, but Core Complexion opens up some other avenues for research. Time to hit grad school to get knuckle under on research management, eh? This past weekend got me thinking; what if Gabi, Lumi, and I shift up to the Citadel while I work on the Masters at Lai Dai? They've got a beaut program there, and I think you'd like to squiz your granddaughter more often.

Just something to think about, I haven't mentioned it to Gabi yet, but since she's started the yakka of dyadya K's aid foundation, she might not pack a sad to be closer to the family. And we can holiday at the bach in Villore to go visit her folks in Placid. Bung idea, or good as gold?

Anyway, I'm tired, and Lumi needs a nap real bad, so I'm going to go rock the pepi for a bit, and see if we can't both get in a wee doze. I tell you, there's no pleasure in the galaxy like having your baby snoozing on your chest.
