You've likely squizzed the news about the latest war, big Null blocs trying to push each other around. Well, those forces have impacted the local Synditude neighborhood, which has been what I've been up to.

One of the big Null blocs, Goonswarm, offered FI.RE some degree of assistance or safe passage to head up north to Brave space. Part of that was dropping a couple Fortizars in our area, which we flat out formed up to cark, not out of any animus to either party, but just on general principle; the big blocs have their sov space, they don't need ours.

We formed up a beaut fleet that included guys that we ordinarily lock horns with locally, and made a pretty effective force to repel the big-bloc ratbags' structure defense fleet. It was a thing of chaotic beauty, if only for a day.

Well, we managed to cark the first two Goon Fortizars, munting FI.RE's evac plans for a moment. Only a moment, though. Goons anchored a couple more soon after, this time with more support from their own allies, but also support from some larger groups that are keen as to take a shot at FI.RE capital and supers fleeing through the area. We formed up, and tried to bowl around the new Forts to register our complaints, but the larger players took sides that really munted our efforts.

For the time being, we'll likely see an increase in traffic, and large bloc fleets moving through on their tiki tour northward. And I'll need to replace a couple Harbingers.. heh.
