Busy weekend testing a gibridnyy Sunesis, fit for scanning, data sites and running combat sites scanned by ship. Interesting ship, since it have scanning strength boost, drone and weapon boost, and even spread of resistances. Downside is it have der'mo for CPU, so really limit fits.

I remember you use Sunesis for open combat anomalies, use light missile and drones, and work well for you with shield tank. Sunesis use for exploration takes all mid slots for engine, data analyzer, rangefinder, and cap battery mod, so shield tank no option. The high slots have probe launcher, cloak (for travel) or 3x lasers. Since Sunesis have slabyy CPU, can not fit missile launchers in good numbers, even with adding co-processor in low slot. Low slots are co-processor, damage control, inertial damp, and only spot left for tank is one low slot, so use transverse bulkheads, and no repair unit at all.

After winding way to Synditude Island, avoiding impatient Flycatcher at transition from Low to Null Sec space, I try out Sunesis. 

It is not terrible, and it is not much great. But, I can scan data site, hack while scan combat site, then warp to combat site without trade ship. Make for faster transition, and Sunesis malen'kiy size can go into lesser sites. Once in site, though, fight harder with small guns, fewer drones. But still possible. For price, cannot beat it, but should stay in High Sec space. Astero better later, and more money.

Thought I would share experience. I am still 0-5 on inventing Hound blueprint, will try to build replacement for you when I can (yes, I heard from my brother about glupyy accident with station guns). I will be on Island much this week, help mining moons and also osobennyy Omber, Hemorphite ores found in combat signatures.
