Plus Ultra #5
Dad,
A week of some occasional forays into the complexes, and stashed up some Gallie creds. You weren't being a dag when you said to watch out for GalMil eggs, I had one try to lock me up and who knows what else in one of the rearguard areas. I saw him coming on DScan, and thought, "okay, he's GalMil, but.." and gave myself 20K off the beacon when he warped in. He started locking on me and approaching, but I was already aligned out. When I got to my safe, I tried to ask what he was up to, and he told me he's on nobody's side, because nobody is on *his* side. We all have trust issues, don't we?
Add to that many of the biggest groups in GalMil are also the ones we're constantly getting harassed by, it's bung as to gin up enthusiasm to help them in the faction warfare yakka. Leave them in a long drop, for all I care.
I think Dyadya's mates are leaning on us to shift our planetary commodity centers from southern Intakistan, and use alliance-controlled planets nearer our industrial centers. What do you think? We're pulling in some mean as profit right where we are, even with paying taxes to those Shade eggs. I could maybe see shifting some of our facilities that move product right to the shipbuilding mates, but we're seeing at least 25% better returns in Intakistani space than we would in Synditude.
I know, the alliance would rather be the ones collecting the customs taxes from us than other eggs, but we also want to keep the dreadnought pipeline humming along as well. I'll talk to Lumi, see if she's keen as to shift as a test case. She could produce the commodities dyadya needs for ship components right where he needs them, good as gold. If that goes sweet as, maybe shift Jean-Pierre.
Almost done with the Covert Cyno classes, and have Rapiers and Cheetahs installed in a couple places. Looks like we'll have plenty of occasion to use them in the coming weeks, as the bung kinos keep banging on our camper vans.. speaking of, I think it's time for a short holiday with the fam.
Cheers,
Wai
