Tas,
Thanks for being such an integral part of the family's production business. My uncle has always been keen as on your organizational abilities, and enjoys having you on as mining mate as well. As for your poetic tastes, well, they capture the feeling sure as at the moment.
Lumi just wrapped, and delivered to you. I will be spinning down final extractions in the coming days, and will route all the precursors and intermediate goods your way for more processing. Since Jean-Pierre is already done, we might send him ahead to spin up production of more precursors at the new hub, to try to offset the production lull as much as we can. Then Lumi and I, followed by my dad, once he's had time to spin down his plants.
You and my uncle will be the last out of Intakistan, after doing the last production stages of any products left, and contracting it for sale or transport.
The war is dragging, as the eggs have, so far, played our troubles to brilliant advantage. Add to that the second wardec, from the bung splinter group, and it's not looking beaut. I suspect that alliance leadership, having little at stake in highsec operations, don't feel the pinch that way you and my uncle do, deriving half our income from highsec mining endeavors. We've heard bugger all from them about offensive operations to resolve the issue, and diplo has been fairly munted as well.
Yeah, my dad feels like you do about the last couple months; alliance got too big for our gumboots, and really stepped into the ratshit mare. They didn't want local friends, they wanted local targets. And so, when bigger kinos came bowling around to punch us in the dick, the neighborhood all watched and some joined in.
That's not how my uncle and dad feel about doing business. Being builders, we'd rather build relationships that help us build bigger, better things. That doesn't seem to be a prevailing mindset higher up the org chart. Not sure where all this will lead, but stay flexible, and maybe start thinking about how to travel light?
Ta,
Wairua
P.S. We'll need to package up our ratting ships as well, to extract from Intakistan. Don't try to gate that silly Myrmidon out, eh!

Wai,
I'm staying off the street while the war is on, at least with the choice mining hardware, etc. Staying on the down low at the Intakistan hub. Jean-Pierre has finished production, and delivered me his final load of P1-P2 commodities. I'll take that, and everyone else's, and get as much of it turned into advanced-grade product, and then deliver it to your uncle for the final steps. Still waiting on yours and Lumi's deliveries, not that there's any real rush, but might as well have all your ends tied up here, so you can restart at the new alliance hub.
I'll miss it up here; was really quiet, skint for bung bastards, decent belt ratting, and sweet as heaps of planetary goods. What was that poem?
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Looking forward to a firm heading from both the alliance and the corp, try to crawl out of the dunny we found ourselves in. Sauce for the gander, right?
Cheers,
Tasman
