Plus Ultra #20

 Wairua,

Hard out, was a busy weekend, I flew Logi off and on, DPS too, but both our adversaries were keen as to avoid any standup fight.

We needed to defend our Island Athanors, so the alliance gang were mean as to get tagged up for the security status to even bowl around highsec. We never got there. The bung kinos in their harassment fleet buggered off while we were still 4 jumps out, but some of their mates kept trying to either tackle one of us on a lowsec gate, or boosh a straggler. We ended up carking a couple booshers, tackle, and (possible) cyno Ventures while we were on our way. Their fleet thought they would take a loop around to get back to their hub, but our FC had us cut them off, camping their home gate.

They had a fleet of stealth bombers and BLOPS battle ship ready to jump us, but chook as, they never lit a cyno to jump us.

We eventually left them to scurry home and bugger off while we waited out the structure timers, and some of our aggro timers as well. They did try to bait us to keep our suspect timers going, but at least one of the pilots niggling us was a proper war target, so we'd cark him at any gate he lingered at. I was flying logi for the fleet, so I'll not figure into the battle report, officially, but I did my bit for the mates.

My brother spent some time down in Tash-Murkon, tiki touring in a fresh, mean as Gila he thought would be a cracker investment to counter Sansha anti-turret tracking disruption. Gila, being a shield waka, is more vulnerable to being munted by EM and Thermal damage from lasers, but he took care to fix the EM and Thermal holes with rigs and shield hardeners. Turned out beaut, he reported, even though he didn't squiz any choice lollies for the effort. He had some cabin fever, needed to get out, make explosions away from the warzone and bung bastards harassing us.

I will, sometime, get back to Intakistan to clean up the planetary goods, I promise. Maybe in any lull between fleet obligations (listen to me, like I'm some big hero, eh?).

Kia Pai,

Dad
