Ran into one of those bung 'UNTIL' things this weekend. Was doing the tiki tour for Sisters of Eve, hoping they'd put in a good word with the Minmatar for me, eventually hoping to get in with the Angels. I was in a beaut Thrasher, nothing to dear, but was working sweet as for the yakka.. until..

I was chasing some munted rogue drone for the Sisters, and came up on a gate to keep chasing the target drone. Up to this point, I'd been sweet as with the artillery on the Thrasher, but it went sideways flat out. A mob of drones appeared by the gate, and so I started carking drones as I approached.. and then some elite drones showed up, and before I could really switch gears, go into kite mode, they had me webbed and scrammed.. and those artillery guns on my waka were hitting bugger all. Long, slow, painful death.

I immediately recalled getting a similar Thrasher carked the same way at a lowsec drone site.. stink one, repeating a mistake.. but, the Sisters' tiki tour still needed to be finished. The Angels aren't going to just slap me on the back and say "well, you tried, mate.."

Had to reship on the local economy, paying way to much for a new waka (this time fit with autocannons), and jumped back in, carked the bung drones, and rescued some of my kit from the old carked waka. The rest of the yakka was doable, I'll probably just go with autocannons in the future, though that bung, neut-happy Kritsan Partha egg is tough, even with mean guns and faction ammo. I pity the eggs that go into that fight with guns needing capacitor. Dagan was even a bit hard, had some serious as reps rolling, but I chewed him down slowly.

Eventually got more rep with Minmatar, but still need a little more before I can weasel into an intro to the Angels eggs. I know some of the mates buy tags to curry favour with the empire eggs, and I might do that once I get close enough for it to put me over the top.

How are things with you and the Guristas? Last I heard, you were heading up to Venal to go beg forgiveness for farming those muppets in highsec sites.
