School Daze #50
Dad,
But I want to train all. the. things. I can just see it: Wairua o Matariki, The 'Phoonmaster!! Dreaming aside, might make more sense for me to focus on getting all my cruiser, and under, chops up to T2 specs before eyeing bigger gumboots.
You're spot-on about the security agent eggs. I thought to start working with the Core Complexion folks, get some lab access there for some sweet as science projects, and instead of hauling, I figured to throw darts at ratbags for cash and influence at their labs. Flat out wrong. First security mission, I came back with a small handful of Caldari tags and a crook feeling, and the second mission left me with a large handful of Amarr tags, and a bung rating with your family's people down south. The pay is choice, but I don't like the repercussions.
And those military pilots are the most spartan when it comes to kit in their ships; all I get is a dogtag, once in a while some metal scraps, and a couple I nailed so hard it jarred loose a little armor plating. Pretty much bugger all. I'll need to see if I can steer some of the mission objectives to keep me out of the ratshit politics and into the beaut ISK. Or, just go back to the hauling mare.
The Serps have been keeping a low profile lately, though the one decent campsite I found netted me a Serp Damage Control unit, which seems some sweet as bling. Ebbs and flows, like you say. Maybe you want the DCU for your Rattler? I'll give you a beaut price for it, and turn around and use the ISK for a deposit on a habitation module in Essence.
By the time dyadya comes to visit, I should have heaps of salvage and planetary commodities for him to bring back. I might even take a class or two this summer, since the Serp fishing's been so bung as of late.
Yours,
Wai
