School Daze #53

 Dad,

Serp hunting was bung again, so I went back to that Core Complexion Security agent for some decent yakka. First assignment she pulled up was contra Caldari, so I declined it, and told her that wasn't the business I wanted. She went back to her computer, and pulled up another, contra Caldari again, and I declined it. At this point, she was looking to pack a sad about the whole deal, then she fielded a report about some runaway drones. I volunteered for that, and we started to make it work from there.

I got back from carking the drones, and find a job waiting for me; some VIP's daughter got mixed up with a ratbag crowd and needed extraction. Jetted flat out, made wreckage of this guy and his mates, carked his [ick] 'Pleasure Hub', rescued the young lady AND a bunch of strippers. I got everyone back home, safe and sound as, and they were appropriately grateful (Gabi says that she hoped that they weren't TOO grateful..).

I looted Kruul's carked cruiser, and was happy to find some useful missiles, and also disgusted to find a DNA 'sample'. Why is the Universe so populated with scrotty ratbags?

After that yakka, the agent decides to sick me after her mother-in-law, allegedly involved with Angels Cartel. I took the job, but as I was about to leave, I said "Hmm, those Angels seem to pop up in unlikely places.." She gave me a stink look as I left, but seemed much happier when I reported the job done. The mother-out-law was in one of those mean as Angels cruisers, and I was wishing there was some remote ejector button that I could just jettison her crew and take the ship.

So far so good, did another couple drone and Serp missions, and the ISK is bearable, plus eventual access to the labs should help too.

I hope you and dyadya Kartsev are having a good week, I know that he's trying to finish up his monthly contribution for the corp's fuel block program. I may just need to haul up a few things and drop off for him. Oh, I almost forgot; in my downtime I've done some studying on the control center upgrades, and think I can boost output soon!

You know, the Serp drought bothers me a little. It started right after I got that Bellicose, and being a bigger ship, I hired a couple locals for crew. Not sure how I'd test that out, and I don't want to be a suspicious git. Anyway, I need to go, having dinner with Gabi's parents tonight out in Verge Vendor.
