School Daze #56

 Dad,

Gabi's folks, the Pierretines, must do sweet as, with the plush bach in Placid and some fancy digs in Verge Vendor. Her dad didn't say what he does for a living, but since I got back home with both kidneys attached, how bad could he be? Dinner was choice, fine wines, convo was mostly about commodities trade, and my work in the labs. When I joked about my competitive dart league with the Serpentis, the folks seemed a little cool, but I imagine they're just hoping their little girl isn't going to marry some F1 monkey. Gabi's still a wee crook here and there, but seems better.

So, best dust off a suit, if you've got one, and keep your schedule open next month. I'm getting married (or 'biomassed', as you put it). Gabi's dad seemed a little shocked when I asked his permish to marry his daughter (might not be the Gallie way, but dyadya Kartsev told me it was a good Amarr tradition).

The Gallies are partying hard, their fruity beers not withstanding, and folks are making flat out to one system or another to pop fireworks off at the Gallies' big military hardware. Gabi wants us to go fly around one of the rally events, and we've been partaking a little in the festivities. I won't say I'm hung over, but definitely could use a nap this morning.

On the yakka front, I simmed out the Bellicose with Heavy Missiles, comparing with the rapid lights; Rapid Lights 92/68 (DPS/With Reload) versus 79/79 for the Heavies. Now, I've only had a couple seminars about heavy missiles, so if I train that up some, might be better sustained DPS over the long run. The drones do about half of my damage, so I'll try to knuckle under on that front as well, but textbooks on the advanced drone tech are some serious iskies.

Anywho, back to the yakka and need to soup up the Rifter for some flat out tiki tours around the galaxy.

Yours,

Wai
